Braylon Health is seeking highly experienced and compassionate Clinical Managing Partners to join our leadership team. As a Clinical Managing Partner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical operations, guiding our remote teams, and contributing to the strategic growth of our organization. Qualifications
Education and Licensure:
- Must be a licensed Psy.D, Psychiatrist, LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker), LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LIMFT (Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist), or a medical doctor with a focus on mental health.
Experience:
- Proven experience in managing remote teams and leading clinical operations.
- Strong management and leadership background, preferably in a behavioral health or mental health setting.
- Experience in strategic planning, program development, and quality improvement.
Skills:
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide remote teams.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in mental health services, including substance abuse treatment and support services.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical software.
- Experience with psychosocial assessments, individual therapy, short-term evidence-based counseling, and crisis interventions.
Responsibilities
Clinical Operations:
- Oversee the clinical operations of Braylon Health, ensuring high-quality care delivery and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic vision and medical necessity criteria.
- Conduct counseling sessions and crisis interventions for various concerns such as addiction, family issues, and stress management.
Team Management:
- Manage and lead remote teams of clinicians, including therapists, counselors, and support staff.
- Conduct regular check-ins, provide supervision, and ensure that all team members are meeting performance standards.
- Foster a culture of strategic thinking and growth, encouraging the team to embrace change and pursue excellence in patient care.
- Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed behavioral health clinicians and master’s degree students, fostering growth and development within the team.
Strategic Planning:
- Participate in the strategic planning process for Behavioral Health services, identifying opportunities for differentiation and enhanced service delivery.
- Drive the development, implementation, and assessment of behavioral health programs to improve member outcomes and operational efficiency.
Quality Improvement:
- Oversee the administration of all Quality Management (QM) and Utilization Management (UM) activities related to Behavioral Health services.
- Develop and implement clinical-medical policies specific to behavioral health, ensuring compliance with state requirements and medical necessity criteria.
- Participate in clinic and performance improvement meetings and in-service training opportunities to stay updated and contribute to ongoing clinic advancements.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
- Foster collaboration and coordination between physical health and behavioral health care to enhance integrated member care.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, professional counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners to address client needs effectively.
- Engage in consultation with other disciplines and develop an increased understanding of the roles and responsibilities of those outside of your chosen discipline.
Health Assessment and Intervention:
- Identify and evaluate health risk behaviors, assess and diagnose mental health and substance use conditions, develop care plans, and provide brief, targeted interventions to support optimal mental, behavioral, emotional, and physical health.
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers for psychiatric medication management needs and refer patients to specialty mental health and substance use care as necessary.
Risk Intervention:
- Support the team in assessing and intervening for patients at risk of harming themselves or others and address situations involving domestic violence by identifying safety plans and referring to appropriate services.
- Participate actively in patient care staffing with the clinical care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educational Contribution:
- Provide clinical consultation and psycho-educational programs on behavioral health-related topics to staff, students, consumers, and other agencies as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for staff and network providers, ensuring they are comprehensive and aligned with the latest industry practices and state regulations.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
- Act as the principal behavioral health/social care expert and liaison for all relevant governmental agencies, addressing issues related to BH compliance, regulatory requirements, and program improvements.
- Ensure all aspects of the clinical operations comply with HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws and guidelines.
