Medication assisted treatment (MAT) programs designed to promote lasting recovery.
MAT can be an effective treatment for both opioid addiction and alcohol addiction. Our Ohio clinics treat addiction with medications like Vivitrol, Suboxone, Subutex, and methadone.
What is Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)?
For those struggling with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) or Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), MAT combines medication with mental health and support services. This comprehensive approach helps individuals begin their recovery, regain their lives, and improve their relationships, while also reducing the risks of relapse and overdose death.
Medications Offered
Braylon Health provides various oral and injectable medications, including buprenorphine (e.g., Suboxone, Subutex, Sublocade, Brixadi) and naltrexone (e.g., Vivitrol). Some medications are taken daily, while others are extended-release injections administered every few weeks. These medications work by normalizing brain chemistry, blocking the euphoric effects of alcohol and opioids, relieving physiological cravings, and normalizing body functions without the negative effects of substance use.
